Predictive value of complete blood count parameters in placenta accreta spectrum: A prospective cohort study

Background: During pregnancy, the CBC (Complete Blood Count) can be used to predict placental invasion anomalies. Studies have suggested that cancer cell invasion shares some similarities with trophoblast invasion. Objective: To determine the prognostic role of CBC parameters for the Placenta Accreta Spectrum (PAS). Patients and methods: We performed a prospective observational cohort study at Ain Shams University Maternity Hospital from January 2019 to December 2019 on 160 pregnant patients diagnosed with the placenta accreta spectrum.
