On October 27-28, 2006 the 10th Symposium “Caesarean section or spontaneous delivery” was held in Wis?a, organized by the Psychosomatic Section at the Polish Gynaecological Society and the Chair and Clinical Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics in Tychy of the Silesian Medical University in Katowice. The number of participants of the Symposium was nearly 1,000 people, in this many remarkable Professors representing all academic centres in Poland. The Symposium was honoured with the presence of the Nestors of Polish obstetrics and gynaecology.
