A constantly rising rate of multiple pregnancies is observed throughout the last decades. Among these twin pregnancies are the most common. At present 50% of them are thought to be iatrogenic, i.e. augmented reproductive techniques-related or resulting from hormonal therapy of infertility. Rare cases of twin pregnancies are presented in this paper.
