Osteoporosis is a systemic disease characterized by low bone mass and microarchitecturaldeterioration of bone tissue. The primary purpose of the procedure in patients with osteoporosisis to prevent fractures, reduce pain and maintain functional capacity. This article provides anoverview of studies evaluating the effectiveness of different forms of physical treatment ofosteoporosis based of the articles included in PubMed and Medline in the years 2000-2013.
