Leiomyomas are the most common benign tumors of female reproductive organ. These tumors are rare before puberty and after menopause. The most common management of leiomyomas are operative procedures. The choice of the operative treatment depends on three factors: age of patient, symptoms, number and dimension of leiomyomas and need of preserving fertility.
