It is estimated that induction of labour concerns 9,3-33,7% of all pregnancies. At the Department of Obsterics and Gynaecology of Medical University of Wroc?aw 10,2% of labours were inducted. The aim of the paper is the concise presentation of methods used in labour indiction and our own experiences concerning this topic.
