Based on the anti-arrhythmic treatment of a 19y.o. women in 30 week of pregnancy with atrioventricular nodal recurrent tachycardia, an algorrhythm advised by European Society of Cardiologists is discussed. A need for modification in the algorrhythm, introducing safe for the mother and the fetus, almost 100% effective stimulating techniques is outlined. Advantages of the stimulating techniques over anti arrhythmic pharmaceuticals, like side effects leading to disturbed placental perfusion are emphasized. The authors propose a modification the algorrhythm of anti-arrhythmic treatment of AVRNT considering stimulation technique.
