The study presents a case related to an incorrect location IUD in the peritoneal cavity. Patient complained of shooting pain in the left lower abdomen, following ultrasound exams has not found its presence, it admitted that was dropped. Nearly a month after the surgery performed hysteroscopy not discovered IUD in the uterus or damage of the wall. After nearly 2 months after the introduction of the IUD is still due to persistent pain has reported to a doctor outside the Region of residence. The USG has not showed IUD in the uterine cavity and the peritoneal cavity, but its presence in the cavity peritoneal confirmed X-ray examination. IUD in the adhesions with greater omentum and intestines by laparoscopy without complications was removed. This case shows that a simple and easy diagnostic test of X-ray scanning abdominal cavity unequivocally clarifies unclear location or absence of intrauterine device.
