Introduction: The lactic dehydrogenase isoenzymatic index was measured in the blood serum from labored pregnants practicing the physical exercise in a prenatal fitness class. The aim of this research was to compare the influence of the physical exercise of pregnants in different age on the isoenzymatic profile of LDH. Material and methods: All the measurements were made in the blood serum from the 24. labored pregnants. Each group consisted of 12 persons. Results: In the blood serum obtained from labored women actively practicing the physical exercise in a prenatal fitness class, the decrease was observed in the H isoenzymes (LD1, LD2) activity opposite to the M isoenzymes (LD1, LD2) activity, which increased. The physical exercise in pregnancy influence on the isoenzymatic LDH indexes in comparison to the non-exercised pregnants. Conclusions: Obtained results indicate the positive influence of the physical exercise during pregnancy on the isoenzymatic index of LDH in the women practiced in a prenatal fitness class, especially in patients more than 28 years old, and recommend it to the further investigations
