The pathways of spreading in cervical cancer seem to be described inadequately in the achievable scientific literature. Clinicians are often surprised by the histological findings. The reason may be in the missing detailed documentation of the sampled lymph nodes. A model map for lymphadenectomy, introduced in Dept. and Clinical Ward of Gynecology and Obstetrics in Tychy in 1992, is presented in the paper
